2nd announcement - registration (4 July 2011)

Dear all,

The 8th "2011 Combinatorics Workshop" will be held at Kangwon National University on August 17~19. (Dates changed)

If you want to participate, please write a registration form at the bottom of this mail and email to cw2011@combinatorics.kr until July 18.

In particular, if you want to give a contributed talk, please submit the title and the long abstract (over half page) of your talk when you send a registration. (The program will consist of 50 minutes talks by invited speakers, and 30 minutes contributed talks)

The invited speakers of this workshop are the following (might be added):

    • Seng-Pen Eu (National University of Kaohsiung)

    • Jon-Lark Kim (University of Louisville)

    • Seok-jin Kim (Konkuk University)

We plan to reserve hotels in downtown of Chuncheon(which is 10 minutes distance from KNU). It will cost 70,000 Won per night. We will give more informations later. We plan to support the accommodation of graduate students who registered until the deadline.

강원대학교 수학교육과 서승현입니다.
8회 조합론 학술대회에 대해 두번째로 안내해 드립니다.

우선 학회 전담 email address(cw2011@combinatorics.kr)를 만들었습니다. 제 메일주소(shyunseo@kangwon.ac.kr) 로 연락주셔도 좋지만, 참가신청이나 초록제출 등은 전담 메일 주소로 보내주시면 고맙겠습니다.

그리고 중요한 변경사항으로, 춘천이 타 지역에서 오고 가기에 멀다는 의견이 있으셨고, 발표 및 discussion 등에 충분히 시간을 배정하기 위해 학회 기간을 8/17(수)~19(금)의 3일로 변경하였습니다. (17일 늦은 오후 시작, 19일 점심 때 종료) 일정과 장소 등에 대해서는 아래 학회 홈페이지를 통해서도 확인하실 수 있습니다.

오늘부터 정식으로 참가신청을 받을 계획입니다. 참여를 원하시는 분은 아래에 있는 2011년 조합론 학술대회 참가신청서를 작성하여 7월 18일(월)까지 회신 주시기 바랍니다. 특히 학회에서 발표하시기를 원하시는 분은 제목과 (반 페이지 이상의) 긴 발표초록도 함께 보내주시면 고맙겠습니다. (초청강연자들은 50분 발표, 일반강연자들은 30분 발표시간을 가지는 것으로 현재 생각하고 있습니다.)

저에게 미리 개별적으로 참석의사를 밝혀주신 분도 머무실 기간이나 발표유무를 확인할 수 있도록 참가신청서를 작성해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.

참고로 현재까지 확정된 초청연사 명단의 다음과 같습니다.

숙박은 아쉽지만 강원대학교 내에는 추천할만한 곳이 없습니다. 또한 학교에 가까운 곳(도보가능)에는 숙박시설은 많지만 Hotel은 없습니다. 그런 이유로 학교에서 택시로 10분 정도 거리인 춘천시내에 있는 호텔을 주로 예약할 예정입니다(숙박료는 7만원내외). 이점 미리 양해해 주시기 바랍니다. 또한 18일까지 참가 등록하신 대학원생들의 숙박비를 지원할 예정이오니, 학생들의 많은 참여 바랍니다.
